Vicki, a Mexican salsa dancer and poor single mom, leaves her young son at home with her mother and flies to Israel dressed as a nun in order to sneak into the country. She plans to find work and is also following Beto, her boyfriend and the father of her child. On the plane, she meets Yoni, a young Israeli scientist who is on his way back to Israel after a research trip. Yoni is about to marry his girlfriend, Dafna. But during the long flight, a strange, amusing friendship develops between Vicki and Yoni, two people who seem to have nothing in common.
