Tal is a 17-year-old Frenchwoman living in Jerusalem. Frustrated by the hatred between Israelis and Palestinians, she scrawls a letter, slips it into a bottle, and throws it into the sea. Weeks later, Tal receives an email from the mysterious “Gazaman,” a young Palestinian named Naïm, that begins a turbulent but tender long-distance friendship that navigates a shared destiny both are trying to change.
