In the early 1930’s, as the Nazis began forcing Jewish musicians out of European orchestras, they unwittingly presented a violin prodigy with a unique opportunity. In a race against time, Bronislaw Huberman founded the Palestine Philharmonic Orchestra, and helped hundreds of Jewish musicians escape Europe before they were transported to work camps, ghettos and the gas chambers. Featuring Itzhak Perlman, Zubin Mehta, Pinchas Zukerman, Joshua Bell and others.
