VOLUNTEER BENEFITS
As a Festival volunteer, you are part of fun, friendly community of film-lovers and other people who know that for 11 days in December, the WJFF is the place to be.>Free 20th WJFF t-shirt - When you arrive for your first volunteer shift, you will be given a WJFF T-shirt. It is yours to keep, but please be sure to wear your T-shirt at all times when you are volunteering.>Free parking for WJFF volunteers working evenings at the DCJCC. Park in the Colonial Parking Garage at 1616 P Street NW. Bring your parking ticket with you to the DCJCC and a staff person or Theater Operations manager will give you a validation sticker to affix to your parking ticket. Volunteers cannot park in the J's Q Street lot.>For every full shift that you work as a volunteer, you are eligible for 1 ticket to see a film of your choice. There are five tickets set aside for each film for volunteers excluding Opening and Closing Nights and sold-out screenings. Volunteers must reserve one of the five spaces at least 48 hours in advance by emailing the date, time and name of the requested film to volunteer@wjff.org. Please keep this benefit in mind when selecting the shifts you want to work. You CANNOT see the film that is screening during the shift that you are working.
