ALB Submission Guidelines

The Ann Loeb Bronfman Gallery is an intimate 850 square foot space located seven blocks north of the White House in downtown Washington, DC. Its mission is to offer exhibitions and programming that enhance Jewish identity, examine issues of social importance and develop community. The Gallery seeks to present work that addresses themes of social consciousness and cultural awareness, and has worked with a variety of cultural institutions, embassies and independent curators to represent many diverse topics. We typically plan exhibitions a year or more in advance, and because we are one of the only designated Jewish art spaces inside the District, the selection process is highly competitive. The six-person Gallery committee, along with the Gallery Director, meet quarterly (summer, fall, winter, and spring) to review submissions. Depending on when the artwork is submitted, it might take up to three months to receive a response. However, ALL submissions will receive a response.
