Who makes up a group?

 

It can be anyone - Outreach Groups, Students, Co-Workers, Friends, Neighborhood Groups, Bookclubs, Facebook Friends, Twitter Followers...any group totally 10 or more people is eligible for our discounts.  Not sure you can get everyone to come on the same night but you still want to receive the group discount? You might be eligible for our New Rendezvous Group category.

3 Easy Ways to Book Your Group

Traditional Group - Be the Group Leader, Gather Your Group and Give Us One Single Payment.


Just call and tell us how many are in your group, we’ll hold a block of tickets. You collect the money for the theatre tickets and make one single payment.  A 10 person minimum and a deposit are required up front but you can adjust your ticket numbers up until 2 weeks prior.


Rendezvous Group - Let Your Friends Pay for Their Own Tickets and Pick Their Night.

You call us and we’ll choose three performances for a particular show.  We’ll create a Promotion Code and an Email Invitation for you to send out to friends, family, colleagues, etc.    Your contacts can then book their own tickets online or by phone using the special code.


Group Subscription – Select 3 or More Shows to See With Your Group and Save Even More!  
(Can be applied to both traditional and entourage groups)


Pick your 3, 5 or even 8 shows you wish to see and fill out the enclosed form.  In addition to all the regular Group Benefits you will also receive all the benefits of a single subscriber which include:


- Subscribers get their tickets first
- Free, unlimited ticket exchanges

IF I WOULD LIKE TO PLAN A RECEPTION, ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS?


        In order to reserve a room at the Center the costs are as follows:
        $ 50 for a group of 20 or less
        $ 100 for a group ofover 20
        $ 50 for table linens
        Extra services can be arranged for additional fees
        Although Theater J itself does not provide catering services we are happy to offer suggestions or suggest caterers that meet the Kosher guidelines set in place by the
        Washington DCJCC.
