Peace Cafe

This program--founded by Artistic Director Ari Roth and Theater J council members Mimi Conway, Stephen Stern and Anas Shallal--offers an on-going series of events designed to bring together Arabs, Jews, and those interested in working toward a resolution to the conflict in the Middle East. The focus is on encouraging individuals from various backgrounds to share food and conversation at post-performance events.

Volunteer

In addition to booking tickets for this production, please consider joining Theater J’s loyal cadre of volunteers! Like many non-profit organizations, Theater J operates with a tiny staff, so there’s plenty of work to go around.

Among our areas of particular need are:

LIAISONS to build relationships between Theater J and other organizations.

OFFICE WORKERS to assist with mailings, flier distribution, and other marketing tasks.

USHERS to help patrons find their seats, and help the theater maintain high standards of customer service

WILLING WORKERS to join Theater J staff in preparing for opening nights and Peace Café programs. Help strike sets as well!

In addition to our gratitude, all of our loyal volunteers receive complimentary tickets to Theater J productions.

Box Office and House Managing
Would you or someone you know be interested in working one or two nights a week as a Box Office Associate or House Manager at Theater J? We are seeking dependable, friendly people to provide great customer service for our patrons. This is a perfect job for students or others interested in occasional part-time work.

Contact Simone Zvi at (202) 777-3210 for details.
