ISRAEL at 62:  Understanding Our Land and Our People

Encounter and explore the richness and complexity of Israel with Israelis.  Share a first hand experience to understand our Jewish people in Israel and North America through food, the arts, political and social issues.  Full sightseeing program covering all of Israel with stays in Tel Aviv, Tiberias, Jerusalem and Kibbutz Ein Zurim.  There is an optional 2 day tour to Petra also.

 

JEWISH ROME Seminar

January 18-27, 2011

Explore the ancient history of the Jews of Rome which is over 2 thousand years old and has only 16,000 Jews living there now.   Visit Rome’s  Synagogues,  Jewish Museum, Jewish Ghetto and more.  Taste the delicious food with a Shabbat dinner and stops at fine Jewish restaurants, bakeries and shops.  This is a cultural tour with seminars and explorations.  There will be an orientation seminar prior to the trip.
