Preschool Teacher
The Washington DCJCC Preschool is a year-round full-day Early Childhood Program in a progressive and dynamic environment. We serve children ages 2–5 in a program that appreciates the uniqueness of individual children. Our emergent curriculum is project-based (Reggio-inspired), and we are searching for team members who enjoy inspiring young children to learn though exploration and investigation.
Requirements
Our lead teachers must have a degree in early childhood education or child development, and be flexible, energetic and warm. Assistant teachers must have a degree (bachelor's or associate's) and also be flexible, energetic and warm. Candidates must also have some Judaic knowledge. Good communication skills with children and adults are necessary as well as a desire for continued learning and professional development. Familiarity with the Reggio curriculum required for all lead teachers; teaching experience with a Reggio-inspired curriculum a plus.
