Cool Kids

Ages:  entering Pre-K (must be 4 years old by April 1, 2010)
Session I:  June 21–July 2
Session II:  July 6–16
Session III:  July 19–30
Session IV:  August 2–13

$780 per session; Discounted Member Rate $650

Campers in Cool Kids join our preschool family for days of fun and adventure.  As a Cool Kid you’ll follow the daily schedule of our Pre-K class and get to enjoy the perks of our summer camp activities, which include:

  • Special entertainers
  • Field trips
  • Swimming classes
  • Art and science
  • Sports and motion commotion
  • Singing, cooking and more!

Because Cool Kids campers join our PreK class (which is made up of kids who are at least 4 1/2 years old), we must keep to our age minimum requirement.  Thank you for understanding. 

 

J Kids

Ages:  entering grades K–2
Session I:  June 21–July 2
Session II:  July 6–16
Session III:  July 19–30

$840 per session; Discounted Member Rate $700

J Kids offers a bit of everything in camp:

  • Tons of activity choices each day
  • Art, music, cooking, drama, science, sports and more
  • Swim lessons and free swim time
  • A sleepover at the 16th Street J (Sessions I and III)
  • Great field trips to water parks, baseball games, museums, parks and more
  • Theme days, like Costume Carnival, Wacky Hat Day and Messy Mud Day 
 
 

 

Super J Kids

Ages:  entering grades 3–6 
Session I:  June 21–July 2
Session II:  July 6–16
Session III:  July 19–30

$860 per session; Discounted Member Rate $720

We have decided to ramp up our J Kids program and give you older campers the challenge you were looking for.  Enjoy all the perks of our J Kids program, combined with week-long afternoon specialties. This summer we have added one extra field trip per week! Specialities include:

  • Cooking
  • Photography
  • Newsletter/Publishing 
  • Karate
  • Pottery
  • Yoga

 

Kibbutz Camp

Session IV: August 2-13

$840 per session; Discounted Member Rate $700

Imagine a camp where you and the other campers lead the group. Make daily activity choices as you and your group form a kibbutz. 

  • Work together and start your own community, or kibbutz
  • Build connections to Israel’s past, present and future
  • Activities include cooking, music, art, science and sports
  • Take a field trip to a farm to pick blackberries
  • Create items, including blackberry jam, to sell at a final shuk (market) and have fun while raising money to help others
 
 

Summer Fun Weeks

Ages:  entering grades PreK–6*
          August 16–20
          August 23–27

$490 per session; Discounted Member Rate $415

When you don’t want summer to end, join the 16th Street J for our Summer Fun Week. This camp packs everything into one week:

  • Enjoy special performances
  • Go on two field trips a week
  • Participate in theme days
  • Spend time in the pool, create art projects, play sports

Join us to make your summer last as long as possible!

* CIT-aged campers are welcome to join us during Summer Fun Weeks at a reduced rate.
