Summer 2016 Community Service Camp

Spend your summer making the world a better place. Teens of all abilities will work directly with the DCJCC’s Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service (MCCCS) to help change lives. Community service opportunities include food distribution, shelter repair, working with seniors, community clean-ups, and more. Counselors and special education professionals work closely with campers to make this inclusive Service Camp accessible and to ensure everyone enjoys the full diversity of our community.

Campers earn up to 30 Student Service Learning (SSL) hours per week.

Dates:

Campers entering grades 7-8:
June 27-July 1

Campers entering grades 9-12:
July 11-15
July 25-29
August 1-5

Times: 8:30 am-3:30 pm

The DCJCC is home base, and projects are located throughout the Washington, DC area.

** Transportation from Montgomery County will be available for an additional fee.

Cost: $440, $390 discounted member price

Teens can register for one or multiple one-week sessions.
