Current Job Openings:

Early Childhood Art Teacher (beginning September 2014)
For 2-3 weekly 45-minute art classes for children ages 18 months through 3 years (and their caregivers), with the potential for an expanded position as art teacher in our preschool.  Responsibilities include planning and facilitating age-appropriate art projects and activities (including stories and songs), as well as setting up and cleaning up the classroom.  Candidates should be energetic, responsible, creative, organized, and able to plan their own curricula, and should have experience working with toddlers and art. 

Early Childhood Music Teacher (beginning September 2014)
For a minimum of 1-2 weekly music classes for children ages 15 months and older (and their caregivers), with the potential for an expanded regular position as music teacher in our preschool.  Candidates should be energetic and able to plan their own curricula, and should have experience teaching toddler music classes.  The ability to play guitar or other instrument is preferred but not required.  Please contact Miriam Szubin, Parenting Center Coordinator, at MiriamS@washingtondcjcc.org
