We are excited to offer a new selection of afterschool enrichments for our families, from the ever-popular J Kids Swim Team and Karate Kicks to adding a new Digital Kidz video game design class!

J Kids Swim Team
Grades K-3
4:15–5:15 pm (pick-up time is 6:00 pm)
Prices vary based on the length of each session;
7 Mondays, April 8 – June 10 (no class 4/15, 5/27, 6/3)

Children will refine their swim skills, learn new strokes, build their endurance and enjoy team spirit on our J Kids Swim Team, taught by our experienced Water Safety Instructors.

Looking for swim classes for younger kids (5 and under)? They are run by the Fitness Aquatics Department. The Aquatics department does not handle registration for the afterschool swim classes.
Karate Kicks
7 Mondays, April 8 – June 10 (no class 4/15, 5/27, 6/3)
3:45–4:30 pm (beginners), 4:30–5:15 pm (orange belts and higher) (pick-up time is 6:00 pm)

This karate program, offered in the style of Tang Soo Do & Jiu-Jitsu, teaches students proper forms, style, technique and discipline. Classes inspire higher levels of respect, motivation and self-confidence within students. When students are not in class they will have opportunities for games, sports, and homework time.

Digital Kidz Weebotics NEW!
5 Thursdays, April 11 – May 9
4:30–6:00 pm
Students must be picked up by 6:00 pm
K – 2nd Grade

Classes include 90 minutes of instruction and design time.
Weebotics® is a robotics program designed for young children that provides creativity and hands-on learning. Our robotics program actively engages and encourages children to use their imagination. Students experiment with basic Lego robotics and build "weebots" while exploring working motors, sensors, simple programming, and more!

Quickfeet Soccer NEW!
10 Fridays, April 12 – June 16
PreK - K 4:00-4:45pm
1st-3rd Grade 4:45-5:30pm.

Classes include 40-45 minutes of training, plus snack and walking school bus from Ross at 3:15 pm.
QuickFeet soccer at the DCJCC supports an environment where players of all ages and skill levels can develop a passion for the sport. More advanced players are given highly specialized attention and are encouraged to develop a greater will and desire to take their game to the next level. Players train under the watchful eye of licensed coaches who pride themselves on teaching young soccer players the right way to play the game.

Yom Rishon
Sundays, 9:30–11:00 am
Grades K–2
Yom Rishon at the J is the DCJCC’s Sunday program designed to encourage connection to the Jewish community through art, music, stories, food and experiential learning. We utilize the Center’s extensive resources to create fun-filled mornings and informal Jewish experiences. This program is open to families with children in kindergarten through second grade seeking a pluralistic environment.
Note: this year's Yom Rishon class started on September 23. Contact Phil Liebson to ask about opportunities for joining mid-year.
