Annual Days of Service

The Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service coordinates four large-scale days of service on top of our regular monthly volunteer opportunities. These service days attract hundreds of volunteers and are popular community events!

MLK Day of Service

Held on MLK Day each each, this day of service is facilitated by Behrend Builders and focuses on painting and beautification projects.

 

Good Deeds Day

Held in the spring, Good Deeds Day is an international day of service that amplifies the value and importance of giving back to the community with thousands of volunteers worldwide.

  Everything But The Turkey

Join hundreds of other volunteers at the EDCJCC the week of Thanksgiving to prepare Thanksgiving-themed dishes that will be distributed by DC Central Kitchen.

  December 25th Day of Service

Be one of 1,000 volunteers making a difference in the lives of countless individuals on Christmas Day. Projects and activities can be found throughout the DC metro area.
