BECOME AN EVENT SPONSOR: IMPACT 10,000 LIVES IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA

The 2007 December 25th Day of Service marks the 21st year that the Washington DC Jewish Community Center (JCC) will organize and host this community project. We will send more than 1,000 volunteers to more than 60 social service agencies throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area to help make Christmas a special day for the underprivileged.

Each year, the Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service at the Washington DCJCC seeks in-kind and monetary donations in support of the December 25th Day of Service project.  Our volunteers bring gifts, food and holiday cheer to children and adults in shelters, hospitals, community kitchens, and senior centers.  The volunteer’s presence also allows staff at these sites to take time off to celebrate the holiday with their families.

This huge undertaking is not possible without the generosity of local individuals and businesses like yours. If your company or organization is able to serve as an Event sponsor, your donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.  Depending on your level of sponsorship, your organization may be eligible to have its logo posted on the project website, which receives 35,000 hits annually. Your logo will also be printed on the December 25th Day of Service t-shirt, worn by over 1,000 proud volunteers during the event.
