The 2013 December 25th Day of Service marks the 27th year that the Washington DC Jewish Community Center (JCC) will organize and host this community project. We will send more than 1,000 volunteers to social service agencies throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area to help make Christmas a special day for those less fortunate than ourselves.

Help us help others. Donors to give $250 or more will get your name or company logo will be added to this page, our D25 home page and many other forms of publicity.

Why do we need your donation?

Each year, the Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service at the Washington DCJCC seeks in-kind and monetary donations in support of the December 25th Day of Service project. Our volunteers bring gifts, food and holiday cheer to children and adults in shelters, hospitals, community kitchens, and senior centers. The volunteer's holiday cheer is free unfortunately the gifts and food cost money.

This huge undertaking is not possible without the generosity of local individuals and businesses like yours. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

For more information on how your business or organization can make a monetary donation, an in-kind donation or even host a gift drive for the December 25th Day of Service please contact Erica Steen at
