REVITALIZE DC: ONGOING ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS

BEHREND BUILDERS 

This community rebuilding initiative repairs and renovates low income housing and vital communities spaces throughout the DC area. Behrend Builders goes out into the community to make a difference in the way people live. By painting, building and repairing low-income homes, homeless shelters and schools we are making a difference in the way people live for the better! SPRING INTO ACTION

This project brings to the forefront our committment to restore DC's environment. The Service Day annually engages over 200 volunteers in the Washington DC great outdoors. Join us for our version of Earth Day each spring by cleaning up parks and steams and planting vegetation around homeless shelters and community centers. 2010 date TBD.
