A writer on the HBO polygamist drama Big Love and winner of the 2009 “Best Original Screenplay” Academy Award for the film MILK, Dustin Lance Black entered the national spotlight on the night of his acceptance speech as an advocate for GLBT rights. Tying the Knot: A Pre-Marriage Workshop for Couples

If you are planning to marry or are considering engagement, it is important to explore your relationship and begin to develop skills to handle the challenges that arise when two people share their lives. Examine and discuss a variety of issues, including marital roles and expectations; religion and spirituality; personality differences, communication styles, managing conflict, decision-making skills, intimacy, money and finances; and household, social and leisure activities.
